This sunscreen has a non-nanoparticle zinc oxide base with grass-fed and finished California tallow, cocoa butter, calendula sun-infused in jojoba oil for 6 weeks, and wheat germ (vit e) oil. All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible!

Due to the oil/fat base, this product is generally water and sweat resistant. It’s recommended to apply every 75 minutes or earlier if needed - while always observing safe sun exposure practices (coverage and shade when needed). The zinc itself is non-nano particle, meaning it is too large (bigger than 100nm) to penetrate the skin. It sits atop as a physical barrier without being able to cross the blood-brain barrier.
